The only thing Halo changed about console FPS’ was adding the online element. Other than that, what did Halo add, teabagging?

The Halo series has been a very good one (I have Halo 1 and 2, and will be getting Halo 3 with my next paycheck) but to put them in anyone's top ten games ever? I sincerely doubt it. Maybe it's the rise in prices that has made me more critical of games, but I am getting sick of paying ~$60 for a title and not feeling like I got my money's worth out of it.
