Super Mario Galaxy PAL Packshot

Super Mario Galaxy PAL Packshot

Nintendo sent over the final artwork for the PAL edition of Super Mario Galaxy. Don’t expect much to change for the rest of the world, except the rating image.

Nintendo always has some really cool box art for their first party games, and this isn’t an exception. I’m still not sold on the concept of the game. I know the controls work great, but bouncing around from planet to planet mid-level just doesn’t feel like a Mario game to me.

I’m also a little conflicted about the planet jumping fitting into the Mario theme, but it looks fun regardless. And yes, this boxart does look really nice.

We are still Mr. Gay. Thanks Nintendo!

The boxart is great, very clean and smooth, especially with the colors. Excited for this one, least as far as Wii games go.

I don’t like this boxart at all. It looks to kiddish with too much going on. I would say it is decent, but not great. A great box art would be Bioshock with the big daddy and little sister in the hallway.

Why is all the stardust coming out of Mario’s ass? What exactly has this plumber been up to? :o

Fragloser no offense, how can you say it looks to ‘kiddish’. Nintendo’s biggest consumors ARE kids. PLUS it’s mario, which is known for bright colors and kidish themes. Like I said before I think the box art is good and so will the game.

  7. Overall the art is interesting but there are two interesting things in the art if you look closely:
1- There is a black hole looking thing in te lower right hand corner, does this mean that the Mario galaxy is being swallowed up? Is there a time limit in the game before the world implodes?
2- There is an odd looking Dr Mario pill, “thing” ? Perhaps some Dr Mario inspired mini games ot look forward to>?
