If you’ve had any trouble over the past 36 hours connecting to Xbox Live or the My Xbox section of xbox.com, you can freely blame the Master Chief. Players have been utterly hammering the servers playing Halo 3, and has caused some downtime and hiccups.

I guess that downtime earlier this month didn’t include beefing up the servers for the Halo 3 launch.
There were 45,000 people playing when I jumped onnlast night around 3PM eastern time. That is a good haul for a few hours of launch. THat is almost 3 million dollars in Halo 3 sales in a few hours. then factor in the xbox’s, live accounts and peripherals and you ogt one giant cash cow!!!
