THQ released six new screens for Saints Row 2 this week. The game certainly looks beautiful, but just how well will it be able to stand up to the juggernaut that is GTA4?

Freakin’ awesome!!! I loved the first one, and the motorcycles themselves already make me want it now. GTA 4 will probably be a bit better just because it’s freakin’ GTA, but they are sorta differently designed. Both will be great for me.
Saints Row was entertaining but got old kind of fast. hope they expand the second one a bit more, also the online multiplayer had horrific lag that rendered it unplayable.
I agree. I really enjoyed it at first (was one of the first games I got when I got my 360) but got tired of it much faster than I thought I would. Only got about half way through it before I lost interest, and the multiplayer never worked right. I’ll check out the second one, but I’d probably only rent it.
No way, I loved the first one and I can’t contain my excitement for this sequel. I personally liked saints rows story and gameplay much more than gta SA, but I will say both of these sequels are going to be excellent games without a doubt. The only thing I didn’t like about the first saints row was the limited vehicle choices, but now they’ve gone up and beyond this desire. The crib customizing and the gang customizing and pimping out your vehicles is just too cool! Every element will be able to be made to your own liking, and being a lover of customization I can’t imagine how gta4 will be able to stack up to this!!
