With Halo 3 coming out this week, what are your launch plans to get a copy of the game? I got a call today from my local Gamestop letting me know they’ll be open Tuesday at midnight for the launch of the game. They indicated you needed to be there by 9pm to make sure everything is paid in full so everyone can get the game promptly at midnight.
I haven’t decided if I’m going then, but most likely I won’t. Sure, Halo is going to be THE killer app this year, but I’m honestly just not that excited. The multiplayer will be amazing, and we’ll get to see the end of story of Master Chief. Halo just has never really drawn me in like some other games. I’ll probably pick the game up sometime Tuesday and not touch it until Wednesday.
So what are your plans? Are you camping out and waiting for the release of Halo 3? Are you donning your most fitting Halo outfit? What are odds we see someone dressed as a Brute, with mask and everything? I’m betting fairly high.

Hmm. I’m getting it the day it comes out, but I’m sure I’m not going to play until the weekend. For some reason, I’m just a lot more pumped for COD, we will see though.
The only features that excite me are the Forge and Saved Clips. The single player campaign never drew me in, so finding out the ending isn’t something i need to do right away
I might take the afternoon off and get some Halo 3 in, no pre-register or anything just gonna go to Best Buy and grab one.
I’ll probably be picking it up after school. Already got it fully paid for, so just need to walk in and grab mine.

I have a preorder in for launch day, but I am going to get the game after work on Tuesday. I know damn well I will play the game all night and I have a hard enough time doing biochemical research on 8 hours of sleep.
