Let me start off by saying that another title is welcomed into the skating arena as Tony Hawk pretty much was basking in his own glory with no real competition, but this has all changed with skate from EA. The title simply titled skate is just that, skating in it’s rawest form, no crazy 720’s and flips, real physics and real crashes.
EA’s skate allows users to have a much more realistic feel to skateboarding and makes great use of the analog sticks. Instead of button mashing to get tricks out like in Tony Hawk, you instead use movements on your analog stick to perform different tricks, kind of like Fight Night. Also there is no button for grinding anymore, instead it all depends on how you land on the surface you plan on grinding.
The game is much more difficult as you have to plan jumps and tricks far ahead of time to make a good trick line. This game is a must have for any skateboarding fan or anyone that wnats to try something different than all the other Tony Hawk titles currently out.
