Halo 3 Ban For Early Release Copies Not True

halo-3.jpgThere have been claims that some retailers are “leaking” copies of Halo 3 out via theft, employees, or just overall lack of concern for the release date.  There have been also reports that in the UK, there are copies being played as we speak according to some users Xbox Live profiles.  The major rumors was that anyone who had booted up a copy prior to launch day would receive possible bans.  Gamerscoreblog.com has released this official statement:

If you obtain a copy of Halo 3 prior to its street date of Sept 25th, you will NOT be banned from Xbox Live for playing Halo 3 early (not even my fellow softies).

It seems like a very laid back stance on an always hot issue, but maybe they just anticipate a lot of these copies hitting the streets and do not want to deal with the fallout.
