Remember those awesome screenshots we posted yesterday from Ninja Gaiden 2? Now you get to see some action. Check out the cool, albeit short, teaser trailer. Given the text and ending, I’m guessing it’s at least a timed exclusive to the Xbox 360, if not fully exclusive. I don’t see why Team Ninja wouldn’t put this out on the PS3, given the huge success of Ninja Gaiden Sigma (and the fact they already have the engine coded and optimized for the PS3).
Here’s your HD goodness.

It’s not coming to the PS3 because Microsoft Game Studios is publishing it (instead of Tecmo). This means Microsoft owns the publishing rights to this particular game.
JKTrix,
Even microsoft’s website lists it as being published by Tecmo. Why would you say it isn’t? Personally, I hope that as Sigma was/is one of the better selling PS3 games that they port it over. I would really like to play this game…..
I’ll admit that I had not checked the Xbox.com site. However, both 1up.com and Gamespot.com report that the game is being published by Microsoft Game Studios. The Wikipedia article (credibility aside) also hosts this information.

I find it odd that Microsoft would tell that to them if it were not true. Someone at Microsoft is mixed up–either the designer of the Xbox page (honest mistake) or whoever told news sites about their publishing (big stupid mistake). The Gamespot article does mention that details of the publishing are not public.
Tecmo owns Team Ninja, so their name may well still appear on the box. Perhaps it’s going to be a joint-publishing thing like the whole Squenix MSGame Studios project “Infinite Undiscovery”.
JKTrix,
Pretty funny actually, I just checked the MS site again, and now it specifically says Microsoft/Tecmo as the publisher. So, it looks like it is a true 360 exclusive. Disappointing really, hopefully this won’t be the death of the PS3 Ninja Gaiden franchise.
Although, who knows maybe they will do something different for the PS3, I mean Itagaki really wasn’t involved with the development of Sigma, his “second in command” was the head guy of that project….
Yea 360, but the video looks good, if the ingame graphics look like this i’ll be impressed. I’d be interested in seeing the real trailer that includes gameplay befor I throw it on my buy or rent list.
I personally don’t care who makes it, it looks seven kinds of awesome. I’ll get it on 360, PS3, Wii, Wii60, PSWii, PS360, or any other combination of consoles.
