Many users have started playing the newly released Lair for the PS3 and many have already found that it can be played on their PSP via remote play. We have all been wondering what the full extent of the PSP and PS3 remote play could be and I think that this is a great first step to show what Sony has in store for it’s users. Lair loses some of it’s functionality on the PSP since it lacks the six axis controls and two shoulder buttons, but who cares you still get Lair on the go. As a new PS3 owner this makes me want to grab this title even more.

Write a Comment»I don’t have a PSP, so this may sound like a stupid question, but is the game being streamed from the PS3, or does it download onto the PSP’s memory stick? If it downloads a copy of the game to the PSP, that’s pretty friggin cool and I may consider getting a PSP.
It’s being streamed via the LAN. You can use Remote Play over the internet from anywhere in the world though… so leave your PS3 on with a copy of the game in the tray and play from another country
The only problem with the Lair Remote Play is the PSP doesn’t have a second analog stick and no L2/L3 and R2/R3 buttons… so you can’t do everything with the PSP.
Huge plus for Sony in my opinion though.
Oh, that sounds pretty cool, especially if you go on vacation.
Yeah it’s definitely a great idea. Hopefully more games will support this, especially downloaded titles from the PSN
I have a PSP and love it. Don’t own a PS3 but it’s little things like this that are making me think, hhhhmmmm PS3? I will be getting one soon if sony keeps it up…
i am so renting this game
