Dating Day was announced at Leipzig yesterday for the Nintendo DS and is scheduled for a release datae of Q4 2008. What can you expect from this game? Wooing. Thats right you “woo” the boy of your dreams, jesus they will make a game out of anything now a days. I for one would like to place a ban on any game that promotes wooing, but that’s just me. Look for this dating sim towards the end of next year and for every tween in the world to have a copy.

Hamburg, Germany: August 23, 2007. German publisher and developer Daedalic Entertainment presents their new project exclusively at this year’s Leipzig Games Convention. Dating Day couples minigames with a strong narrative in a unique Nintendo DS game, developed by Daedalic’s internal development studio.

Dating Day features an engaging storyline all about that crucial “first date”. Players try to woo the boy of their dreams, by mastering a host of original minigames. Players can individually design their avatar, deck it out with fashionable accessories and style it in every way possible. Cute animations and teen-pop sound are sure to capture the hearts of young girls.

„Story and characters have been developed to have maximum appeal to young girls. The relevant topic and age-appropriate presentation is tailored perfectly to girls aged 8-14. In the run-up to GC, we have already gathered a lot of positive feedback to the game and are currently pursuing these talks with great intensity,” said Florian Groß, product manager at Daedalic Entertainment.

In addition, Daedalic is showing several other titles, including first scenes from their adventure game project A New Beginning, to trade visitors at their GC stand G52 in hall 1.
