We have all speculated that a game of BioShock’s caliber and not guaranteed to be exclusive had to come out for PS3. Here is a clue discovered in the PC demo:
Program Files/2k Game/Bioshock demo/Content/config.ini
You will find this message:
Console]
;; Console (XBox360, PS3) specific settings
;; StreamingDynamicFloatingLimit:
;; If this is a positive number, then instead of using the fixed per-level
;; limits, the StreamingDynamic resource will use as much memory as is
;; available as long as the total memory allocated by the game is less than
;; the specified number. In other words, StreamingDynamic will grow and
;; shrink to fit to the available memory instead of being locked to a fixed
;; budget
StreamingDynamicFloatingLimit=500
Weird… what do you guys think?

After all the positive buzz this game has gotten, why wouldnt they port it to the PS3?
It only means Unreal games can be ported to PS3. Period.
Same stuff (well similar) was included in all Unreal Engine 2 games even those not ported to Xbox/PS2.
Is BioShock coming to PS3? Eventually, I’d say yes. But not this year.
They better do the port right. If they did i would pick this up in a heart beat.
