I would really get on RE4, even if you played the older versions on PS2 and Gamecube.

The addition to the controls with the Wiimote really add a lot to the gameplay.

I do agree though that the Wii is really lacking in games.

Oh, and I agree about the modding. I’m all for homebrew, but there is none on the Wii or Xbox 360… those mods are just for playing pirated games, which really hurts the industry.

As far as I’m aware, there’s nothing yet on the PS3 to allow for any pirated games. I think Sony allowing Linux to be installed on the system was a terrific idea as it allows homebrew users to legally go about things without touching the PS3’s actual system data and games.

Ironically I was playing with the Wii last night and I wasnt prompted for an update, this was about 1am East coast time, guess it wasnt available just yet.

I turned on my Wii this morning for the first time in over a month and updated the firmware. After I updated, I tried to check out the Wii Shop Channel. After I clicked the channel, it sat at a black screen for no less than 2 minutes before the channel loaded. I couldn’t do anything with the Wiimote during that time.

I’ll probably not turn the Wii back on until Super Mario Galaxy comes out. There really just isn’t anything there I want to play right now.
