Could PS3 users get to fool around with minions in the near future? It seems plausible, giving a recent job posting on the Triumph Studios website for PS3 programmers.
The job posting calls for a coder with PS2 and/or PS3 experience for “Porting X360/PC code base to PS3.” Now let’s think about that for a second. Triumph Studios’ last game (aside from Overlord) was an Age of Wonders expansion in 2003. Unless they have some new, unannounced games coming our way, this job posting most likely means we’ll be seeing Overlord land on the PS3 in the near future.
What do you think? Would you like to see Overlord on other consoles? Personally, I love the game, but I’m not a big fan of ports showing up months or years later for other platforms.

I agree, the more choice for consumers, the better. I hope the game gets enhanced in some way, or it’s for a future title. Like I said, I’m not a fan of straight ports showing up on other platforms a year later
Well I just got Overlord from Gamefly today, and I have had trouble putting it down. Just makes sense that they would port such a great game to the other console. It would be pretty cool if they made an Overlord game for the Wii, but not as a straight port. They would probably have to totally rework the game to fit around the Wii’s controls.
