Namco will finally give us what we have been waiting for and that is the fourth and perhaps final installment of the ground breaking fighting series, Soul Caliber.  The game will debut sometime in 2008 and Namco promises that new characters, a new fighting system, interactive environments, as well as other surprises will await us.  Here is a little teaser video they have released.  I stress the word tease.  Makoto Iwai, exec. VP and COO at Namco Bandai Games America released this statement:

Soulcalibur has been a cornerstone franchise for Namco Bandai Games and this latest edition will build upon its legacy of groundbreaking fighting experiences. With Soulcalibur IV, long-time fans and newcomers to the franchise will be amazed by its visual beauty and intense, pulse pounding weapon combat.
