To go along with all the updates the PS3 received last week, the PSP is getting some update love, bringing it’s status to version 3.50.

The major new additions to this firmware are to allow Remote Play of the PS3 over the internet and a new RSS Channel Guide to organize your feeds on your PSP.

Being able to access your PS3 over the internet is crazy cool. Just think about it… you’re away at work and hear of a new amazing demo released. Just fire up your PSP and hit a WiFi access point, connect to your PS3, open the PlayStation Store and start the download. Not only that, but how about watching all your streaming media content over the internet anywhere in the world? Sounds pretty damn good to me.
