There have been reports that there was a Blu-ray attachment possibly on the way for the Xbox360, but according to Gamerscoreblog, there will is not anything in the works nor is anything planned for Blu-ray support. Here is an excerpt from the interview from Peter Moore.
“‘Just want to clear up a few things surrounding several erroneous stories regarding alleged comments from Peter Moore about Xbox 360 supporting Blu-ray. Simply put…These reports are completely incorrect.”
Seems like all 360 owners will have to seek their blu-ray elsewhere. Sort of disappointing really.
Lame! Sometimes I want to punch Microsoft!
I can’t say I blame Microsoft. They have to stick with their guns and back HD-DVD. If BluRay wins, I would hope they would bring out a drive. I use my PS3 for BluRay anyway, so I’m happy I have both.
