Crackdown will soon have new downloadable content available for the Xbox360 reports our friends at Computerandvideogames.  Though the game was a blast to play through, there was not much left to do once all the gangs had been eliminated except hunt for random orbs so an achievement can be obtained.  Nevertheless, Realtime Worlds has released all the details for the new DLC.  First, ALL gangs can be reset.  This is a major plus giving the game a reason to play through again with 5 new weapons which include: a new rocket launcher, a minigun, a harpoon, cloaking device, and proximity mine that will allow you to decimate all those that stand in your way.  There will also be a new finishing melee move that is sure to boost those combat stats in no time.  Perhaps the coolest thing is the new vehicles such as a Agency Buggy, Armored Vehicle, and a Pursuit Vehicle.  Expect some new orbs as well as new challenges.  Is this a ploy to sell more games while the Halo 3 beta is finished? Who knows?  Either way, I will be dusting off my copy of Crackdown and giving this game a much deserved second play through.
