In a move that can only be described as stupid, Sony confirmed to IGN that it won’t be releasing updates for downloadable PS1 titles on the PlayStation Store until May. This comes after the new firmware update for the PS3 that allows you to play these downloads on both the PSP and PS3.
I was all excited yesterday, wanting to play a couple games on my PS3, but no. I’ll just try to keep my hopes up for another month. Here’s a tip Sony… if you’re going to release the functionality, have something there to use it on Day 1.
