
In an interview with Gamespot, SCEA’s PR guru, David Karraker, dropped some lovely information about the PlayStation Network.
There’s now more than 1.3 million registered users on the PlayStation Network from the PS3 worldwide. Out of that number, approximately 600,000 are in North America. There have been over 3.7 million content downloads as well.
I think this is pretty damn good for them, considering it’s a completely new product and the adversity they’re facing with the PS3’s pricing structure. I’m sure this number will continue to grow as the PS3 picks up steam and gets some must-have titles.
