For those who haven’t been aware of this game, John Woo and Midway present a video game sequel to the film Hard Boiled. Hard Boiled is an action packed shooter that took Hong Kong by storm in the early 90’s, starring Chow Yun Fat as Inspector Tequila. Stranglehold boasts beautiful graphics as well as action packed gun play with Inspector Tequila smack in the middle seeking vengeance. This game will provide fully destructable environments as well as a bullet time mechanic remeniscent of the great Max Payne games. There will also be some slick moves tthat can be pulled off like sliding down rails and jumping on carts while firing your dual pistols. Here are some great screenshots to wet your appetite.
