I have scored a system finally but now comes the fun of getting the accessories. I spent the last few days hitting every Best Buy, Circuit City, EB and GameSTOP in order to try and get a second controller and couldn’t find anything. I found a classic controller but decided not to pick that up yet as I don’t think I will download many games just yet. I did get a 1 Gb SD card for it for $20, just as a note of advice don’t fall for buying the memory cards in the Wii section of the store, they are like $60 for the same thing you can get for $20, you are paying for the fact that it says Wii on it. I am a bit pissed I got rid of al of my Gamecube stuff since you can use the controller and memory cards with the Wii, there is a panel on the back of the system that has 4 plugs for the GC controllers and 2 slots for the GC memory cards, I could use a Wavebird right about now. Also if you haven’t seen Circuit City has Rayman for the Wii on sale for $29.99 this week, unfortunately they were sold out when I went, but I will go back for a rain check.

Write a Comment»I got lucky the day I got mine that Toys R Us had a ton of accessories. When I got the Wii at Best Buy they didn’t have anything, so I went running around and got stuff
Oh, and the SD card is kind of pointless. You can’t do much other than store stuff as backup. There’s 512mb built in to store game saves and stuff, but they haven’t allowed you to save and access the SD card directly in game or run VC games from it yet.
Well that was a waste of $20. I kinda figured that out after I saw that all you can really do is view stuff that was on the card. Its a fucking card reader. Retarded! Shame on Nintendo, they should let you store things on there, also i thought you might be able to take a picture and make it into a Mii, that would be kool, instead you can play with your pictures like in Paint. Lame.
