UFC – Randy Couture RETURNS!

Huge news from former UFC light heavyweight and two time heavyweight champion Randy Couture yesterday… he’s coming back! Randy retired after a loss to Chuck Liddell back in February 2006. He’s decided to come back… but no longer as a light heavyweight. Couture will return as a heavyweight and challenge the current champ, Tim “The Maniac” Sylvia, for the title at UFC 68 in Ohio on March 3, 2007. WOW! That’s all I can say. I’m looking forward to seeing Captain America back in action, and against the 6′8″ giant. He must have seen something in Sylvia’s fight against Jeff Monson that made him think he could take “The Maniac”.

It’s gonna be an insane year for the UFC, with both Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Mirko Cro Cop both joining the UFC this year.

    Huge news. I think him coming back and the introduction of Pride FC guys will make for interesting PPV’s.
